Effective March 23rd, 2021, SeaCoast Health Systems, Inc and Senior Care Group, Inc. have completed a change in the Board of Directors for the existing 501(c)3, nonprofit. Through an agreed upon restructuring plan between the two companies, SeaCoast made a contribution to effectively move Senior Care Group, Inc, out of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
SeaCoast Health Systems and Senior Care have worked closely over the last 3 months to complete this transaction. The two groups have successfully aligned both their core values with the same shared vision of how to collectively carry the merger forward. The combination of each company will form a strong partnership with the vision of a bond between each other’s operational and management teams.
Senior Care Group has been in business since 1983. Through this Board change, SeaCoast Health Systems brings a market expertise that will drastically aid in the development of their operations in the future.
Involved with this transaction is 2 Skilled Nursing communities in North Carolina as well as The Home Association, a Skilled Nursing community in Ybor, Florida. Transitions Rehabilitation and Transitions Home Health is also involved in the change.
